The rule in one line
Software may help gather and organise. It does not decide, and it does not publish.
Where tools are used
Collecting public information. Automated collection reads what a public profile shows, puts it in a consistent shape and flags what is missing, so that an editor compares the same fields on every profile instead of skimming each one differently.
Draft scaffolding. An outline or a checklist may be produced with assistance before an editor writes. What reaches the page is written and checked by that editor.
Housekeeping. Link checking, image sizing, spotting a page that contradicts another page, finding a figure printed without a source. Mechanical checks that a person would do worse and slower.
Where they are not used
No page is published straight from a generator. Every review carries a byline and the person behind it is responsible for what it says.
No imagery of a real person is generated, altered or reconstructed here. Portraits come from the profile being reviewed, and no synthetic likeness of any creator is produced for this site. The wider position on synthetic intimate material is at /responsible-ai/.
No figure is invented. Where a price or a posting rate is not publicly verifiable, the page says so instead of printing a plausible number, which is the practice /editorial-policy/ describes.
Labelling
If an illustration on this site is ever produced synthetically, for example a chart or a generic scene with no real person in it, it is labelled as such in its caption. Where a provenance standard such as C2PA can be carried in the file, it is carried. Portraits taken from a public profile are not labelled as synthetic, because they are not.
The disclosure duties in Article 50 of the EU AI Act apply from August 2026. The labelling above is how they are met on this site, and the practice is reviewed as guidance develops.
Creators who use AI
Some creators use generated or assisted material on their own profiles. Where that is visible and relevant to a reader deciding whether to subscribe, the review says so as a plain observation. It is not treated as a fault in itself, and it is not asserted where it is only suspected.
Reuse of this site by AI systems
The pages here are written for readers. Scraping the catalogue in bulk or ingesting it into a training corpus is not permitted, and permission is not granted by the absence of a technical block. Licensing questions go to [email protected].
If a page looks machine-written
Tell us. Send the URL to [email protected] through /report/ and it gets read against the standards on this page. A page that fails them is rewritten or removed, and the correction is noted on the page.
If a synthetic image shows you, that is a consent matter rather than a labelling one. Use /ncii-report/, where the clock is 48 hours.

Are the reviews written by software?
No. Each review is written and signed by an editor. Tools help collect public information and check mechanical details, and nothing goes to the page unreviewed.
Do you generate images of creators?
Never. No likeness of a real person is generated or altered here. Portraits come from the public profile the review is about.
How would I know if an illustration was generated?
Its caption says so, and provenance metadata is carried where the format supports it. Portraits are not labelled that way because they are not synthetic.
Can I use these pages to train a model?
