We also looked for anything a bio promises, because promises are the part a subscriber pays for and the part we cannot test. Rates are never printed on these public pages. How to choose
Start by asking whose theme this really is. Some creators build a whole page around it; for others it is the third tag behind hair colour or background. The second group can still be worth a subscription, but you should know which one you are buying.
Next, look at how the photo is cut. Close crops flatter everyone and tell you almost nothing. A full-length shot in plain light is far more useful, and a page with several of them is more useful still.
Be careful with bios that promise live shows, custom clips or personal replies. Those claims sit behind the paywall where no reviewer can reach them. Ask in a message first, spend once, and judge the second month on the first.
