Check that the ink is actually in the photographs. Several profiles carry this tag while showing a cover with barely a line on it, and a subscription is a poor way to find out what the work looks like.
Daylight beats studio light here. Coloured lighting shifts pigment, and a heavy filter flattens shading into a smudge. If a page only ever posts in tinted light, you are seeing less than you think.
Mind the crop. Close framing is flattering and useless for a sleeve, a back piece or anything that runs the length of a limb. Look for one full-length shot.
